shotgun licence

hi im trying to find some information is it still possible to get a shotgun licence with a criminal record?

and does anyone know how long an offence stays on your record?

im 21 in a few days and im thinking of applying the only problem is i was arrested and cautioned when i was 17 for posetion of an offensive weapon,

cheers mate doesnt look too promising but as i said was 3 yr ago so i will give it a go ive held a clean record since then and hopefully the police wil see that, thanks karl

if i can get one any body can i got refused twice by the police ,i had to take mine all the way to crown court ..i now have 4 rifles and two shot guns stitting in my safes i do find keeping them very hard with all the pricks about me ..i dont go down the town for a drink no more as i know it would be bye bye guns ..you have to be on your best behavior at all times ..you have nothing to lose by asking for one but every thing to gain ..so put in for one
