Has anyone got a dog that takes on the filter

Just wondered if anyone else had a dog that can take bunnys with just the filter on. my dog on a few occasions has taken sitters with just the filter. I tried it because there where a few in a close area and thought it might not spook them as much as if i gave it the white light AND TO MY SURPRISE IT WORKED.

i run my dogs a lot with just the filter left on.i only remove it if dog and quarry get further away.

what colour filter do you use? use to have a dog many years ago wouldnt run with white light so i use to use a yellow filter with her.

my bitch dose mate run`s the red,blue and yellow filter just started usein them in the last 2 month and she is doin well so far keep at it and the dog will only get better at it

should try a yellow or green filter easyer to spot with

I usually only glance the field on filter then slip on white light i just slip on filter if a few in 1area so not to spook them. Thanks for the replies lads.

used the filter for spooked game many times and for phesis , had dogs take allsorts on filter but expierenced dogs all they neede to see was eye they ran the beam well sometimes last minute would blast white lite on and game was done , good for areas were you dont want to much lite or just for spotting , got chased at gleneagles golf course one nite a [bANNED TEXT] carry on after a roe and a few rabbs a laugh filter never helped us that nite landrovers everywere , i thought i had robbed the queens jewels feching joke

Done the same mate, ok for close up ones but no good for long slips, even if the dogs run the beam well, with the filter on it doesn't cast the same light.
