Init and behind the local council offices where there is great hedge to put the long net up as they can only go there, the sea is right next to it so the rabbits cannot here us and the cctv only comes on if it senses movement and we always stay out of the way of them lol. I counted 53 once whilst walking there in the day light as thers a public footpath that goes right thought it, but i spoke to the woman behind the desk and she said it was ok

theres loads of places here man you should see em!

most of them are too risky though :whistling:

one place is next to a busy road,

one place is on a travellers site,

other place is on a holiday camp site,

last place is on a bull field, big bulls roaming round,

so you wont catch me anywhere near them lol,

otherwise theres no that many

An answer in short 'NO'

Too many variables to take into account ie,

Risk assessments, insurance etc etc.

It is very likely that your school isnt able to make the descision as this will belong to your local authority. If thats the case, not a feckin chance in the world.

:no::no::no:

i think you probably know the answer air rifle ..... school ..... no chance mate

just some law points

It is against the law for anyone to have an airgun in a public place unless they have some proper reason for doing so - for example, it has just been confiscated from an offender. A public place is anywhere where the public are allowed to go, regardless of who owns the land, and even though they may have to pay. Roads, streets, footpaths, canal towpaths, public parks, schools, play areas are all examples of public places. If the general public have some sort of right or permission to be in a particular place, that is a public place and you are not allowed to have a loaded airgun in that place.

It is an offence to fire any weapon within 50 feet of the centre of any roadway, if by doing so you cause a nuisance. This offence could be committed by someone on private property close to a road who used a gun in a way which upset people on the road.

i know its a bit of a ball ache mate but thats the law and i would hate to think a school would say yes however another way around it is a different approach (ferrets)
