we were up against them lads in the Heart Of Wales show. i was the youngest and my partner were the oldest there and they only beat us by bout 6 inches. no disrespect for the boys, they can dig. next year tho !!! any chance you could find a pic of us, i had tracsuit bottoms on and my mate was wearin an ospreys hat. cheers..!!

Can anyone help does anyone know these diggers they won our digging competition in August, and we are having the photo framed for our pub

 

I had the names in my pocket after the show got f"""""g soaked

The funniest part is that i was in the ring with these guys and a took a quick look around me and made a mental note of the 2 i thought most likely to win...when I saw those two (the actuall winners) i thought they didnt have cat in hells chance of winning as they were only "boys" ....and skinny ones at that!!! Shows how wrong I was LOL

On the subject of naming the diggers on here,it is only like naming the owner of the champion terrier fail to see the difference

 

 

Anyway had the photo done and the brass plaque it will be going up in our pub the Fountain in Builth Wells next week, the boys can also have that at the Game fair next Year as it will be replaced by next Years champion Lurcherboy He has started digging already to beat them

in caerphilly show its a 6 min time and whoever dug the biggest hole wins you have to fit a 45 barrel in them a man from near me (no names) but im sure a few people on here know him has won it a few years on the trott i seen him there last year a proper tool on the spade him and his mate are proper teamwork done it for years together the 1 is immense on the spade the other immense on the graft a good team who works hard to win every year lol i was speaking to him a few days back and told him ill take his trophy off him this year he laughed if i had 12 mins i still wouldnt beat him in 6
