Don't know them but a good idea having a digging comp. Might suggest it for at a show or young farmers comp in the future.

It is a brilliant spectacle and can get very competitive especially when you are giving £100 prize money it is knackering to watch let alone take part,if you want details or help to organise it Joe by all means PM me,We are very lucky in that Lee Bowden from the Caerphilly hunt comes up to organise and judge our each year ,if you want to watch or take part in one the also organise a cracking digging competition at their show around Easter time.

get ready to put my name on it next year heart of wales only joking them 2 boys came close in the caerphilly show last year they were inches behind Lee B but this year they wouldn't of had a sniff lol but all fairness to them they can drop a hole for 2 small boys

they have won it every year its been going on for, i think its about 6 years now or 7 theyl take some beating theyv dug with eachother for years and yes it was a nats cock between them but this year i dont think the 2 young boys would of come close but iv heard many stories of Lee P in your photo there my cousin knows him very well and he said hes a tool on the shovel all fairness to him genuine dog boy aswell by what iv heard hes owned some not good but very good dogs all the best for him hope he enters caerphilly comp this year like to see that again

The boy on thge right cant half dig his father was the hunts man for the local and he has been digging since he was able to hold a SHOVEL.

we were up against them lads in the Heart Of Wales show. i was the youngest and my partner were the oldest there and they only beat us by bout 6 inches. no disrespect for the boys, they can dig. next year tho !!! any chance you could find a pic of us, i had tracsuit bottoms on and my mate was wearin an ospreys hat. cheers..!!
