smelly 0
Pups need to be wormed every 2 weeks till they are 12ks old anyway smelly, so it will be fine. What wormers are you using though, cos good wormers dissolve the worms inside, you should'nt see any worms passed. hi it is called shirleys syrup i now its cheap but times are hard
TIMMAY 6
Don't rate shirley's stuff try panacur, they sell it in pets at home, or you'll probably find it cheaper online somewhere. I know times are hard, been laid off myself, but if you can't afford to worm your pup, should you be taking one on at all?
jembo 0
Drontal is also good, as is Milbemax (sp) - I never get wormers off the shelf, always go and get them from the vets. A friend of mine was using that Bob Martin stuff and her dog nearly died with a worm belly. For the sake of a couple of quid, you will save a huge amount on vets bills! Miss Tarka 3
I use Milbamax for all my dogs and have never had a problem with it and for my JRT pup it cost £1.30 give or take a few pence... Atb MissT x
smelly 0
i no it cheap but i though would give it a go but of today get some panacur
smelly 0
If you get the tablet form Panacur...its a big brown looking thing. You wont have any problems getting it into the pup as you do with other wormers....its meat flavour and they LOVE IT you dont no anyone who gets puppy jabs robbing shit down the vet want £
farlap 19
Over here, we can still buy the vaccines in vet chemists and they work fine, if kept in a fridge. As for wormers, Darontal +, Panacur, Milmabax and one that use to be out years ago, but they stoped making it, was Ruby syrup, a pink thick liquid, that was deadly on round worms... ..Pity they stoped making it. Frank. i use drontal for pups and adults....but it doesnt dissolve adult round worms.....just expels them. Dont waste money on shelf bought wormers.

kayteetess 15
i find the best wormer is panacur puppy paste the cheapest place to get it is online at vetsuk.com for about £3.a syringe, you give it every 2 weeks until 12 week old then once a month until 6 month then i like to give a drontal tablet, the panacur is realy good stuff i prefer it to drontal puppy which gets everywhere and with the drontal being more like a liquid the pups can easily cough half of it back up where as the panacur is a paste which pups seem to take more easily my thoughts anyway dosage is dependent upon weight and you give it for 3 consecutive days every time hope that helps Edited November 26, 2008 by kayteetess
