border lad 1,047 Posted November 25, 2008 Report Share Posted November 25, 2008 FOR ME IT HAS TO BE SALUKI X AS I LIVE ON THE FENS, WITHOUT THE SALUKI X ON THESE BIG FIELDS YOU HAVE NO HOPE. { H COURSING IS THE ONE FOR ME } I do not agree with your saluki x, the collie x greyhound, is the cross for me, there is breeding, and breeding rubbish, this is why, the dog pounds have a lot of unwanted lurchers, select your collie bitch from ex, working stock,((( not something that looks like a collie,and never worked in her life, then have your greyhound selected, to line your bitch, of course there is No gaurantees, in breeding, but I have had some wonderful, dogs bred this way, speed, stamina, and most of all brains, (( the price of pups I may start breeding again,))) In the late sixties, I bought a greyhound bitch, to breed from,her name was HI, blue,ANGEL, LITTER SISTER, OF HI,JOE, HE WAS HOT FAVOURITE, to win the english greyhound derby,(( they kidnapped him and put him up for ransome, and I put my first x collie across her, and that is the type of dogs I am talking about, dogs that can change gears, and then carry back to you,, SORRY FOR THE LONG WINDED, POST, Quote Link to post
