For me it would have to be Hagler - Hearns 1985....simply due to the size of the event...it was a genuine superfight between the top 2 fighters in the world at their prime.......usually fights like this with a massive build up are an anti climax but this was a 3 round war.

Theres so many fights that were great for different reasons.

Another few that spring to mind that were classic historical fights....Ali/Frazier....Robinson/Turpin....Zale/Graziano...

For sheer excitement one of the best fights i ever saw was back in 82 when Ray Mancini fought Duk Koo Kim......it was a 14 round all out war with both fighters standing toe to toe and slugging it out in a fight that today would have probably been stopped after 2 rounds !....Mancini won with a brutal knockout, tragically Kim never recovered from his injuries and died 3 days later....if ever there was a real life rocky fight, this was it !....dont know if Jasp can find any footage of it....i have the fight on tape somewhere.

Also sadly both Kims mother and the referee of the fight commited suicide shortly after..... a terrible ending to what was an unbelievable fight and certainly one of the best ive seen.
