dont you get s410s in single shot,

i got a s410 in .22 and i cant fault it mate lovely gun.

Jazz_11,

As a rule, the S400 is the single shot rifle, and the S410 is the 10 shot rifle?

That is not say that you can't of course, use the s410 as a single shot rifle - you can, simply by introducing a pellet into the breech manually each time, but this kind of negates the function of it being a 10 shot rifle though, when you think about it?

On the other hand, you can also use the S400 as a multi shot rifle by purchasing a conversion kit, which will give you the facility to use the kit's magazine in the single shot rifle, but you will most likely have to manually index the magazine round to the next pellet after each shot?

Thinking of the the S400, one could also purchase a S410 breech block and magazine indexing assembly (the S410 breech will of course have holes pre drilled in the correct places to mount the indexing assembly to ;) ) as well as an S410 bolt (this would have a tiny channel milled into it [whereas the bolt on an S400 hasn't this feature, AFAIK] to accept the pin on the indexing assembly to enable the index assembly to work correctly) and get it fitted by the local gunny? This would make the S400 a permanent, self indexing 10 shot rifle as well.

I hope this is of help mate?

Regards,

Grim.
