OldNog 432
Went and visited a fairly well know terrier bloke today who completly ran my unentered bitch down. Anywhos, this bloke who ant the biggest of fellas was obviousl never gunna span my bitch and said she was gunna be a liability. I can span her and i aint got paddles for hands...i can get my fingers touching under her and my thumbs touching on her back. I was just wondering, iv seen some black dogs on here that are alot bgger built than my bitch, and was wondering if they have all been spannable and if not how much of a hinderance was it? This my bitch in question, that is apprently fat aswell Quote Link to post

earthpig 0
Iam not a fan of huge dogs yours looks normal ,Ive had some bigish ones that you cant span and they pused in where small terriers have failed , if their determined they get their no probs a good chest space is important in a worker everyone will have different opinions i would say if it does what you want f**k what anyone else says Quote Link to post
OldNog 432
cheers chaps I understand that having a good size boiler room is needed and i have heard of bigger dogs pushing on in small cubbing earths. Steve, yeah he is a very knowledgeable chap, could have sat and listened to his tales of years gone by for hours, but he is very much a purest. I was warned before i went over he didnt shine to well to black dogs Quote Link to post

YOKEL 2,245
old nog it looks like your dog is in good nic how tall is it to the shoulder. 14inches tts Shineyspade looks a cracker that, the best terrier i owned was a big lump, stood around 15/16in and i'd of needed hand extentions to span him, but if there was something at home he was right up on it & you never need to dig more than once... shinyspade 2
old nog it looks like your dog is in good nic how tall is it to the shoulder. 14inches tts Shineyspade she is a good sized terrier then. but i take the big dogs can get where little dogs cant with a pinch of salt. a good big un may get up better than a poor little un. but a good handy sized terrier will get to more than a good big un. and do it quicker and easier. size is very important not knocking the bigg uns it a fact of life with terriers they do need to be small enough to get Quote Link to post
mantha 2
thats a cracking bitch if you ask me jelousy must be a terrible thing. Quote Link to post
