jimb 30
If its flushing your after i cant realy see what the patt x spaniel would have that a full spaniel wouldnt??? About £300 extra left in ya wallet True! but I cant see why anyone would purposefully breed these too types. mostly the result of accidents I would say. Saying that I have seen it a few times before. Once the dog is doing the business its all the one id spose . Id like to see pictures. Crossing a spaniel with a terrier could make a very handy little dog adding that terrier blood will give it more drive and reduce the size a bit as there is some cover that a spaniel will not be able work as easy as a terrier can ,The reason you wont find much of this cross is cause most gun dog men are driven by the £££££££ and will not be able to sell the pups for much ,even adding a bit of working beagle blood I think would make a very robust ,game little hunting bushing type dog Quote Link to post

wink hound 0
i think if people starting adding a touch of hunterway to these lines, they'd be able to bark well and push the bunnies out without scartching themselves Quote Link to post
