Took my 7 month old Lurcher for a bit of excersise yesterday and she knocked her toe nail across on the outside of her front foot, Her toe is fine, its just the nail thats moved.

It was bleeding a bit, but didnt seam to bother her and she kept walking/running.

This morning she is limping on it, what shall i do?

Take her to vets or will it heal natural?

Thanks for any advise

Tom

Cut the nail back to as near the quick as poss, double check the toe itself for injuries and monitor if further concerns get some expert advice. Usualy dammaged, broken nails regrow ok but with such a young animal be extra careful them feet have got a long way to go.
