davyt63 1,845
hi gaz as for the AAS410 they are that good i bought two very accurate piece of kit , the BSA ultra multishot looks good but it is heavier than the AA and there has been problems with the magazine in some reviews .and my mates son has one he had to send it back because the pellet probe didn't align with the magazine it kept hitting the mag. as for the Prairie Falcon me and my mate had a look at the light hunter skeleton stock at the midland game fare i think it is going to be his next purchase. hope this helps davy Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
Out of those you mention I'd go for the Air Arm S410, but if you are looking to spend a lot more money then get a Theoben as they are in a class of their own and a true hunting machine... Quote Link to post

You on commission from Theoben or something , because we all know what they are mate , and im pleased that you`ve got the one you want , but you dont have to mention it on every post Out of the rifles you mentioned gaz i can vouch for the AA400 series and aslo the BSA Ultra , but i think you`d be better going to a dealer and tryin them out for your self mate ,see which one you prefer Just remember the shot count on an Ultra is low ( about 38 ish i get on my .22 ) compared to my AA ( which is about 75 on a .22 ) can`t say on the Falcon atb Buster Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
Well I have nothing to prove and if shooting a magpie is easier than shooting a rabbit just let me know I do admit that my new rifle has only had 3 rabbits in the field, this is because I have to work as I run a very busy business. So time has not been on my side, but hey when I have time to take pictures of dead things in the future to satify the curious here I will. Yes I've been grumpy just of late and it may have been reflected in my posts. All work and no play!! I don't own a bird table Andy! I shot those magpies with a pistol which is a little more challenging than a rifle. Last but not least Andy I've never rubbished your posts or highjacked a threads here yet please don't do it to me! I apologise to 'gazguildford' on all of your behalfs for highjacking this thread.. Quote Link to post

mad al 146
classic or carbine? depends on the terrain really I'd say. I've always found classic more accurate form, but on our land which is mainly woodland I'd be going for the carbine I was laughing at what has been said about who is getting out and doing the business, it's so bad here at the minute with work and stuff that the bullcross got pissed off with waiting for me so she went off into the fields on her own a couple of months back and brought a rabbit home , she does it everyday now which really pisses the Rottie off as he can't clear the fence Quote Link to post
