Guest joe ox
Where are the game dealers in the north east of england, which are the best? What prices do they give for rabbits, hares and deer? The last time I used a game dealer it was £1 a pound for roe with head and feet off, 50p a rabbit no dogged ones and £3 a hare but that was many moons ago Edited November 23, 2008 by joe ox

I'd only been a couple of time with pegandgun, I use someone local now about 5 mile away or if were further south a mate takes them and deals with a butcher close to him any quantity... His place is in a very rabbity area and he .along with the keepers in the area no longer bother as its not worth the hassel , and it dosent cover his expenses.Last week my lad brought 25 brace of pheasants off a local shoot, the fellah was happy to get rid for a score,he said the same,by the time you have finished driving round ,then copping a kite, your out of pocket.Lets have a thread on not what you get for gear ,but what them robbing b*****d game dealers sell it on for. micky
