whats a good ferreting book to get stuck into ?

im looking to buy a ferreting book so i can learn a little bit more about it but i dont know what one to get and i dont wanna buy one and its crap . so if any one could tell me a good one to buy it would be very helpful

The book you want is The Complete book of Ferrets by Val Porter & Nicholas Brown,ISBN 072071592X.Written in 1985 it's one of the best.Also Dave Bezzant Ferreting book is also a decent read.

do you want, an informational one, or one about actual hunting with ferrets, not just how to do it. If so, get the plummer books, all his are good, and the complete book of ferrets, James McKay is good, but there are lots, go on amazon mate, the books on second hand or used are new condition and some are like a penny, plus postage of about 2 quid. Well worth it. mum buys all mine off there. Ferrets and ferreting is good and so is the val porter one as mentioned above

Before I got my ferrets I read Working Ferrets by Jackie Drakeford and Complete Guide To Ferrets by James McKay both very helpfull.
