I've never been out with people who work ferrets but looking at it as some one totally inexperienced it looked like he's not got a clue what he's doing. I've seen people handling ferrets before- never like that, the dog looked more like it was playing with a stuffed toy, as for the machete- can understand the comment bout cutting back undergrowth but he wasnt in a forest. Looked more like a comedy clip, surely people dont believe thats how a ferret catches a rabbit?? Can see why you guys get peeved off with peeps who not got a clue broadcasting how not to work an animal.

iv used a machete when settinb the longnet usually 2 days before and moved the scrub out the way so i could lay the net down.... i cant see the vid as the computer has a blocker fitted but i can imagine the stuff.....

One of the Warrener DVD's,I think its rabbit exterminators?Theres a guy spends the entire DVD carrying ferrets around by their tails It was the norm on that particular DVD if I remember correctly

i watched one of his dvd's last night & in a few clips they were just chuckin the ferrets on the floor from standing hight, it was that poachers thing dvd , tickling trout etc , wasnt very impressed

The tickling-trout scene kay was faked,but theres another DVD where they are wandering willy-nilly over a warren carrying ferrets around by their tails,excellent advert for youngsters coming into the game,and old pat is chortling away in the background
