rabbit slayer 22
rabbit slayer not to be funny but most people find out all about the dog before getting 1 not the other way round johnny it wasnt by choice i had him. my terrier died, and my grampa bought it for me as a suprise as the guy he bought it off said it would be a cracking worker. Your pup should make a cracker,my son owns one and she is a great little lamping bitch, she retrieves to hand, good liitle rabbiter, the only slight fault that she has is she isn't the greatest jumper but we never got her until she was 18 month old and i'm sure she would of been spot on at jumping if she was schooled properly. She does jump normal size fencing with a strand of barbed wire on but gates she just won't entertain them. Here is a picture of her she stands about 21 and a half inches. Dee thats a cracking dog mate, im hoping my girlfriend will get sum pics of my pup on here soon. im not to clever with technology. Quote Link to post

rabbit slayer 22
thanks mate, its hard to get into something when you aint really got people to go with to show you, or to advice you on things. At the moment im learning from my own experience. but the guys on here have been great. how old will he be before he will be able to catch a rabbit, ive been told that id be wasting my time even showing him a rabbit untill hes about 7-8 months old. cheers Quote Link to post
skinnyrat 0
he will be ok to start,at the start of next season, september, all you should worry about for now pal,is getting him obidient, and retrieving etc,if you say where you live im sure one of the lads may offer to take you out next season and show you the ropes, you seem like an honest guy, which should make it even easier to find a partner, all the best for the future good hunting Skinnyrat Quote Link to post
