seen this bird of prey the day

i was out with the dogs the day an a perigan shaped bird flew past it was pure white its wing tips were black an its tail

was forked like a swalows tail

dos any of use lads know wat it was cause iv never seen one before its new to or area

This is all's i can think of from the colour or maybe and escaped falconer's bird..but they dont have forked tail's..i think the only bird's in this country to have forked tail's are the kite family but they would be of the wrong colour..

I would hazzard a guess at a male hen harrier(bottom) the more likely,but if its an escape maybe a Black Shouldered kite(top)

tat top one looks like it . an its tail was def forked it was right an close when i seen it if tat top bird has a forked tail id say it
