Well what would you class as an out an out allround working lurcher ? What cross do you think makes a good all rounder etc.. Any pictures of your allrounders?

my mates bitch (greyxwhippet with a splash of deerhound) was an awsome dog in her day real good still going strong she did rabbit hare rat fox doubled up deer better then iv ever seen real knack fallow and roe....

think i have an old pic of her with a deer she helped us track and shoot.... see if i can find it

shes 9 now almost 10 if there was no ban she would still be doing the biz i think

best i have seen where pitbull greyhound saluki for allrounders but thats just my view

That dog looked like it earned its kennel space in its day,, But what would you like in an allrounder?

 

To me,, It would have to do all quarry day and night and show 100% comitment to the job in hand.

I reckon you get good all round dogs with all types. Iv seen some crackin collie greys that do the lot, and also bull greys that are capable of the same. Surely theres no breed which comes out on top as an all rounder!!

i got a 3/4greyhound 1/4 deerhound which does everything bit rough on rabbits but i would like a greyhound deerhound collie whippet would make great allrounder

whats an allrounder ?, lamping , ferreting , deer, fox ,hare , rabbit ,rat ,day and night longnets , bushing , coursing , guarding , marking , does a dog that can do all this exist ?

hi all i think the best allrouder dogs are wheaton bullgreyhounds mine does every think but a bit rusty on the hares but he does the job
