wats the best type of sticks to use for a long net? any ideas would be apreciated thanks

I prefer aluminium.

But many lads use seasoned Hazel. Or fibreglass.

I use hazel sticks on my traditional nets, but if your thinking of a quickset type net they usualy use fibre glass poles.

I have just got a longnet, and i have fibreglass ones. Alot of people recomended them when i was asking, they suggested the ones from Magnum Trap co.

Have just received mine from magnum and trap, they look the biz, they come with the gromets to hold your head and foot lines.
