hiya my car ran out of mot end of october gets retested this week but i need to use it tommorow as my mates van has broke down just wondered what the police do for no mot i no they can confiscate for tax or insurance is it the same ?? taxed and insured by the way

only time you can use the car is driving it to the MOT test centre or to another garage to have work carried out after it failed the test!

 

Otherwise no insurance!

 

No insurance and you liable for arrest and the car seizing!

no mot means your insurance would not cover you so be careful

The only place you can drive a car, when it has no MOT is to a Garage to have the MOT done.

 

And the MOT must be booked in advance, so you cant say that you are driving it to the garage to make an appointment or on the off chance, not that they would likely believe it with a pile of bunnies in the back :no:

No MOT £60 3-6 POINTS,no isurance as you have no MOT £150-180 6 POINTS(minimum) then anything else they can add on,also court costs :o Expensive days rabbitting that P2 :icon_eek::(
