JPTfellterrier 65
my pup did that i let her outside for 20 mins, she would come in the house and sh*ts on the floor, she just grew out of it
Clover 0
The best way to house train a puppy is to take it into the garden - not just put it outside by itself - and tell it to "be good" or whatever instruction you want to use. When it actually performs, give it lots of praise and then go back inside. Puppies do need to go fairly frequently, so this needs to be done pretty often - especially when it's just woken up, or just eaten. If the pup is just put outside by itself, it'll probably just play. Some are faster on the uptake than others

Guest jbswildlife
the fact this dog is pissing on her bed shows signs of a problem.

scottishlass 57
when i first get i pup i let it out as soon as its had something to eat ,as soon as it wakes up and in between every couple of hours ,i then slowly up the time in between, my pup is now 8 months and he did go through a little spell at 5 months where he would make the odd mess but that was sorted as the water dish was in the corner of the living room and he was just drinking the water cause it was there, we moved the water in to the kitchen and it has helped as he is not drinking water for the sake of it just when he is thirsty
