Adam-RunningDog 1 Posted November 20, 2008 Report Share Posted November 20, 2008 (edited) Right well i put this topic in this section to save a job for the admin putting it in the right place, Well recently My girlfriends Grandfather has had a lottery grant to Open Two fishing lakes one which is a game lake with trout and another one with corse fish in so best of both world, and matter of a fact he is a top notch corse fisherman and is well know and often writes article for the angling times and lucky for me im a keen fisherman too so got to know him well and he strusts me enough to let me be something to do with this project. Well the man land he is using decided that he would likto turn it to a activity centre aswell involving Clay pigeon Shooting and archery. Lucky me i am A welsh record holder for archery with a compound bow. Lets cut to the chase, i have been offered to be a manager of this and get some good ideas. Well with me knowing alot about archery i decided we could have indoor and out door shootin grounds for expert and novice but then i was thinkin something that south wales really needs a field archery corse and a this guy who own this land happens to own alot of woodland. So im thinking of doing that a field archery corse, and an indoor and outdoor corse. so im sorted with that and anyone as any ideas and anyone interested could you let me know and give me some ideas which you may have. This is the hard part. CLAY PIGEON SHOOTING. obviously we will need licsences i know that, i have only had a little shotgun experience, so i need some help he has a big field and a big bank so the clays arnt going to go far and the shot isnt either so that is safe. but now the shotgun part what shall i do how do i put everybody through the safty checks and i am planning on having a little shotgun pracice to make sure i can do it all properly, but if anyone has anything to say about this or give me help ideas what ever i would be most pleased thanks Adam Edited November 20, 2008 by Adam-RunningDog Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Adam-RunningDog 1 Posted November 23, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 also fishing is involved, and i would rather everybody to have a look and come across it rather than just the people in the shooting section, so i can get as mu help as i can, i dont really think i will be teaching people to shoot the shotgun just book them in but wil be teaching people archery i can do both forms of shooting. ferretgirl29 235 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 well am i right in sayn there 2 lakes to fish on and you wanting to open a clay club near just a thought fisherman like the quiet life so if there was clay shooting going off all day a lot of people would get sick of that and they wouldnt come back just a thought.
