Fenlander 0
so your keeping your fingers crossed, its , NOT a very good rabbit proof fence, Maybe he's set them on the side where the rabbits are trying to get through from rather than the side they have been excluded from Quote Link to post

Good luck. Quote Link to post
IanB 0
I actually snare rabbit proof fencing, they bite through it sometimes, fallen trees blow sections down slightly, they dig under at certain points, were the mesh hasn't been dug down... One thing is there excellent for catching rabbits, you have a 100% kill zone as you know they WILL be travelling through them, that or stay in the woodland, hedges on the other side of the fencing... Netter 0
I've a few like this, you can easily see where the rabbits are travelling, perfect for snaring. Quote Link to post
micky 3,325
so your keeping your fingers crossed, its , NOT a very good rabbit proof fence, The fence has not been up a year and there under it ,its two types of good quality wire ,one for badgers one for rabbits, idont think its down to workmanship ,the land is very uneven and prone to flooding, they have put stone over the underground fold in the mesh ,but the run off from the fields has washed the very light sandy soil beneath away.God is good sometimes. Have fun No Ian ,it looks a good job,the other side of the track is pasture land and the fence is perfect, the arable side has the problems,i think that ,the heavy rain and contract sprayers have stopped weed growth,so has not to allow the soil to be consolidated, and being so light its washed away, the two mile stretch is one massive badger sett and they pop out anywhere they want,in fact i bet theres one or two dining at my expense as i write this. micky Quote Link to post
