lamp trouble

just wonderd if anyone has got a lazerlite lamp ive had mine abart 6 month nd gone thru 5 fuses on the batters they just keep blowin there 12v7 a/hr batterys its the pack 8 on arthur carters in the cmw any advice would be greatly appriceicted.Also can i get the fuses from normal shops or would i keep avin to send off for em.

Aslong as you get the correct size fuse you can get them from ebay, the local hardwere store, where ever you like. Still, I'm wondering why it keeps blowing :blink:

 

 

Cheers mate al take 1 with me to the shops make sure its same.same ere mate ant got a clue why they keep blowin just wonderd if any one else ad the same problem.

its got to be shorting out somwhere. if you only had it 6 months you will be able to take it back as faulty and get a new one under its garentee

hi mate we had the same problem and it turned out too be the wires inside the handle touching together as for fuses get them from a car audio suppliers ;)

Oreyt mate thanks for the reply what do you mean the wire in the handle cos there int no wires goin thru the handle on mine also ar did u sort it art mate.

we found that constant twisting around touched the wires on the switch together and fused it take the handle apart and av a look the wires must run up into the switch got 50 quick blow fuses from a car audio supplier lots cheaper than from local lamp shop
