gnasher16 30,024
Didnt get time to see your reply as you delete them super quick...but no doubt it was more of your name calling nonsense based on what you see on the telly.......stick to facts mate, jimmy was cleared of any wrong doing and a high court demanded the bbbc paid out a million for their mistakes....id say the court might of gone on facts as opposed to your tv dislike of a man !....you are talking about one of the most staunchest most stand up,and nicest guys ive ever known and ive known this man over 30 years !.....maybe you need be a little more tactful im sure if i rubbished a friend of yours and tried to humiliate him based on bullshit and not fatcs you would have something to say no ? Learn the facts about a situation before trying to humiliate people you dont know.
baz 463
im with afew on here, as much as i like hatton, iv watched a few of mallagnaggi,s fight and he aint no push over, cotto took him 12 rounds, and he was still game at the end, i dont think he will k.o hatton , as he as only k.o 5 opponents, he fought with hand problems for a while, but is now fixed. i think the yank will do it on points

Tommy 9
Gnasher not getting at you mate we always seem to disagree on boxing  BUT You mention Kostya Tszyu. After Hatton Destroyed him people started saying, he was shot and hadnt fought for 20 odd months etc , But before the fight he was classed as the best and most dangerous Light-Welterweight in The World. Before fighting Hatton he had beaten Sharmba Mitchell, Jessie James Leija, Ben Tackie and Zab Judah 4 of the best in the divison at that time There was more fights in Tszyu and i dont believe he was an OLD FIGHTER when he fought Hatton, hes only had 33 fights in his career, BUT it was the way HATTON beat him that made Tszyu finish boxing :boxing: As for Hatton been false in front of the camera's to try and build a image, far from it I know a few lads that live near Hatton and a couple that grew up with him, they say he is exactly the same when hes down the pub as he is whens he on TV promoting his fights I think Hatton will be to strong for Mallinaggi, especially if uses his great body punching ability, i'd say late rounds stoppage to Hatton :victory: ATB TOMMY
gnasher16 30,024
Hello Tom...all fair points as usual you make sense in what you say.....i just feel as far as hattons image thing....who really cares what he,s like as a person....he,s probably a likeable lad both off and onscreen, but who really cares....thats my whole point....being a likeable lad who is " just one of the lads " and makes everybody love him....SHOULD have no bearing on his boxing career...but in his case it does ! and he knows it....fighters try harder to become loved celebrities these days than they do to become better fighters and sportsman.....you cant honestly say with your hand on your heart that through boxing ability alone he deserves a multi million pound fight with delahoya can you ?....apart from both the pacquiao/delahoya.....hatton/delahoya fights go,they are physical mismatches at best.....and only being put together to create these image induced big events....look at superfights from years gone past...hagler/hearns...leonard/duran etc etc...these were made between great fighters with great records both at the top of their game at the same time....not between washed up names with a " great public image " like these superfights today. As regards kostya tszu....do you really think he fought hatton like he was in his prime ?....i dont, sometimes time catches up with a fighter real quick and tzsu obviously knew he didnt have it anymore at top level or he wouldnt have retired. Anyway we agree on one thing .....i also believe hatton will beat malignaggi...my only worry is if he tries to do different to what he is good at because of a new trainer.....i think if he does what he,s good at stylistically this is a good fight for him....if hatton holds the middle of the ring and walks him down and is aggressive malignaggi will fold eventually....if on the other hand hatton stands off and lets the fella pick him off from a distance i think he,ll lose.....all the best.... the_stig 6,614
could be the end of the road for hatton imo ...

gnasher16 30,024
Do you self a favour Mr Bow Bells....when Frightening Jimmy is having is regular barbie at your drum on Sunday just ask him what size of wager he had on Watson to beat Eubanks. Your a very lucky fella CockerneyGnash....not only do you know very nice men indeed but also your powerfull enough to spot subterfuge through your Television even where it don't exsist. Better still when pulled on the matter you declare "who's bothered" when clearly you are.....not too sure about you....best move for you would be to stick to the bench presses. The good thing about being an adult is you dont need to call somebody childish names to get a point across....you are talking about a born again christian so nothing particularly frightening there....you know nothing about the subject or the man....." better to keep your mouth shut and have people think you know nothing than to open your mouth and prove it " Now,you have been presented with facts but still continue to talk like a 12 year old....i can argue with kids in my own home....so you can have the last word.
