labsnlurchers 39
I've just had a phone call from a friend and he is having to leave his family home as he and his wife are splitting. He has a young lurcher that he cant leave with his mrs and cant take with him as he is moving to a flat. The dog is kenneled on its own at present. It is a fawn dog and is about 12 months old. He hasn't done much on the lamp yet but he has been out a couple of times in the day but nothing serious. He isnt very tall and he's a nice strong looking dog. From what i remember of him (i havent seen him for a couple of months) he ought to make a good bushing/ferreting dog. Ill know more when he comes up to my kennels this evening (where he will be staying till he finds a new home) and i can have a proper look at him. He wants a good permanent home for him and is willing to accept £50 on him. Ill get some more photos of him later tonight. I am mid wales but i am travelling to the midlands on friday night/saturday and then leeds on sunday so i could take him with me if anyone in that area wants him so it would cut down on your travelling. 19/20 tts The 1st photo i have put up is when he was about 6 month old. the rest are taken today

Guest WILF
He wants a good permanent home for him and is willing to accept £50 on him. JMHO as I dont want to turn this into a bollocks, but I would be telling your mate that as long as he gets the former he shouldnt worry to much about the latter By the way, I have seen a litter of these types and they were very handy little dogs.........good luck with finding a new home Edited November 20, 2008 by WILF

He is good with other dogs too. WHAT ABOUT FERRETS MATE IS HE BROKE TO THEM?? I have been out with him and my ferrets once and he was ok but that was a couple of months ago. I can try him with mine and see how he is, he's been in the garage tonight where mine are kept and didnt pay much attention to them so he should be fine.
labsnlurchers 39
Ok, ive been out and got my old hob out for him to have a sniff at. Was good with him, didnt bite, growl or go for the ferret but i wouldnt like to say for sure that he's good with them. Hes had a bit of a day today and is more concerned in his new surroundings than he was the ferret so i might see if i can get him out with the ferrets for an hour tomorrow, might get a truer reaction then but i dont see there being any problems.
