SteveieP 0
I have a Webley Hurricane which I bought in 1981. Good as new & bombproof i.e a proper Webley made in Birmingham. I don't think I've heard anything good said about the Typhoon (made in the corner of some foreign field that never was like England) I hear good things about the HW45. More money but ya gets what ya pays for Quote Link to post

Someone reckoned they'd get wealthy by buying up what was once a truely fantastic manufacturer of small arms and by using the name would sell sh!te because people would buy that brand. Well they have to realise, if they want to get wealthy, they will have to produce guns made to the same standard that Webley are famous for and not the crud, there doing now! Sickening what they've done to that brand! I will pay money for old Webs, but not for the new stuff! Tony Quote Link to post
