cold and windy morning

i went out for a stalk this morning bloody cold and very windy, stalking along a ride hedding out to a long wood to start stalking through it when i bounced a doe out of some young trees, she ran to the edge of the wood and did that fatal look back thing they do, down she went to a hart shot a good big doe wighed 38lb head and legs off.

I love the pic of the doe hanging off the gate with the pooch modestly stood alongside. Quality. She looks a good, strong and well fed doe, nice going. Thats got me all fired up... going to try and get out this weekend.
