My BSA

Hi all, i put a thread up a while back about my BSA meteor. It will cock, and when you pull the trigger, it makes a normal noise, but the pellet doesnt come out. I have put a new breach seal in but no difference. what do you think the problem is?

I have the same problem mate. There only 6ftlb and i have had it since i was 8 and i am 14 and it has lost a lot of power over the years, so i think a new spring should be in order mate.

have you looked to see if aything is jamed in barrel?

yer i have had one since i was 12 and they do lose quite a lot of power, i dont use it any more but i am still thinking of getting it re springed

have you checked the piston rubber??

piston head "top hat" by sounds of it.

may be your pellet over sized and not nuff power to push it out?had that with wasp 5.56 ages ago threw bsa barrells.
