kinderbeano 13
if you mean rod and line then i have only ever had 1. 7lb in weight .but if you mean any means then im up their with mac , bigest 32lb . numbers in one night 122 ,in one month over 1000 and in the 17 years i done it for i would not like to imagine ,go on call me over ,but i know and so does the lads with me and most of all so does the byers and bailifs that was around when i was doing it ,it was a long time ago ,dont think we will ever see this sort of numbers ever again .o and it was of one of the best salmon rivers in the country .where 50+ fish in a night in nets was average . ah i see.i was presuming it was just rod and line sorry.there hasnt been legal neting on the nore in years.not including the poaching tho.the clubs are very much into concervation on the river.we wouldnt have the stocks to be neting anyway,it would decamate the numbers. as for the lime, that was a joke ha Quote Link to post

chess 0
1000 fish with rod and line in a few days is possible.i no this for fact ive nearly achieved this with friends in 5 days our total was around 860 ish all were rainbow trout not salmon mind .and believe me this part of the country isnt over run with fish so mackem i no wear your coming from mate and if nets were used then 1000 fish is a very achievable target ive never used nets but seen footage of massive hauls on the box and dvd s What fly did you catch them on Valley Quote Link to post
