greyling

I live in east anglia. And im a pretty expierienced angler. Over thirty years on and off. But one fish i have never really caught many of are greyling, And a fancy a go for them. Any ideas of rivers that are close to me? I dont mind a couple of hours on the road.

tell you what valley that sounds good, and i tell you what, i dont think anyone should own the rights to rivers. after all you if you pay your 25 quid you should be able to fish where you want

me neither, the only reason i buy one is cos i cant be arsed to twat the bailiff when im having a quiet days fishing

i pay my rod licence and fish where i please the most a fishing club baliff can do is ask you to leave and phone the police if you refuse.

tell you what though valley, im dying to catch a grayling. im gonna join that club that barbus was on about on the dove but cant afford it at the mo. plus my mate from near ashbourne poached it and got some trout and grayling off it and said that they taste great

The valley of Dovedale, below Hartington, where the river runs through a rocky, wooded gorge some 3 km / 2 miles

Dont think the local kids will be feeding the ducks in your swin there

he used red mags and im not too sure how many he caught

The river irthing in cumbria has been heaving with greyling this year, probably a bit far to go .caught a 1 1/2 pounder earlier in the season .worth it on the right day.
