So sorry for your sad news, yes she could have had a few more years, but a working dog unable to work is like a life prison sentance. You chose to do the selfless thing and let her go with her dignity. Doesn't ever make it any easier though. Take care.xx

Sorry to read this, it's the hardest decision to make. Like others have said she was doing what she loved the most. It's a harder decision to let them go than people think & hopefully having other dogs around will make it easier.

We'd already arranged previously to go and look at a litter of pups this weekend... I know no dog could ever replace Atol, but hopefully the pup will be right for us and will help us move on onto the next chapter.
