what exactly does pottasium permangnate do for dog cuts , is it ok to use it on cut thats begining to heal

it's an oxidizing agent, disenfectant, kills germs, bacteria and fungicides etc... you need to dilute and spray on cuts etc.. keep away from eyes though. and wear gloves when you use it. as it turns your skin brown...

id only use it to stem bleeding...its best used for docking or dewclawng puppies if the cuts starting to hel id use nothing more than an antiseptic cream or powder.....

sorry swan lol...iv only ever used it in dry form i have no need for it in liquid....ive used it for so long it never crossed my mind to use it anyother way lol..

sorry swan lol...iv only ever used it in dry form i have no need for it in liquid....ive used it for so long it never crossed my mind to use it anyother way lol..

:D no need to apologise fella !!! in liquid form it works the same as hydrogen peroxide, I spray it on wounds and sometimes if the dog's skin is torn, scratched etc in brambles.. it helps when dog has mange as well stop the sores getting infected... we learn summit new everyday !!!
