Regarded by many as the best spring rifle available, the Pro-Sport comes with a specification normally only associated with tuned weapons. Apart from the cocking mechanism this under-lever rifle has the tried and tested but upgraded mechanics of the TX series rifles, including the much praised 'CD' trigger system. The Pro-Sport also features an anti bear trap safety device so that as long as then cocking arm is open the gun will not fire

Barrel & Over-tube:

Lothar Walther - 20mm o.d. - 4.5mm (.177") & 5.5mm (,22") cals -12 groove rifling - 450mm twist - choked muzzle end. Built-in moderator.

Trigger:

True 2 stage - adjustable weight of pull - adjustable length of pull.

Stock:

Beech & Walnut right hand with ventilated butt pad.

But lets get back on track,( you can pm me if if you wish to take it to the next level  )

Although i didnt give a detailed account of why the hw98 was a good rifle, I will if so needed, it may not be as full of vitals as yours. Like a gorgeous model

What i am getting at is maybe a little more is needed to back up a statement, other than " yes mate that gun is ace!!"

Why?

What sets it appart from the other rifles suggested?

So this would be a good choice because??

Buster, you need not reply :big_boss:

Best .22 Rabbiting spring loaded air rifle?

None pre charge mate it's the only way

A springer can take just as many rabbits as a PCP it just requires slighty more skill because of the recoil of the gun

Sorry I have to disagree, because it is just not true.

There is a few reasons the main one being more shot's quickly.

I think that is the first time I have actually disagreed with someone on the forum 100% oh and by the way the last springer I had/used was an Air Arms Pro-Sport, nice bit of engineering, looked like a fecking Elephant gun. And I have still got a BSA Air Sporter, nostalgia only.
