Albert Ladd 0
Used to set out piles of bait to attract the coyote. As they or other animals lugged off various parts. they would often entangle these pieces in the snare instead of themselves. I've had deer and moose heads, leg bones and hooves. and baby pigs Caught a 600lb cat in two different snares. Someone followed me down a trail with his "Arctic-Cat" snow sled and got entangled in the snares, never did find out who. Quote Link to post
pegandgun 52
one wet morning years ago me and an old mate of mine went to check a few mole traps and a few fox wires. When we got to the mole traps one of the traps had gone and we could see fox footings around the area in the wet grass. We checked the rest of the mole traps then crossed the field to check the fox wires. The snares where set through a hawthorn hedge and as we approached one of the snares we could see fox tracks in the wet grass heading straight to the corner of the field where there was a snare waiting. We were fully expecting a fox in the snare but to our suprize there was a mole trap perfectly caught around the middle Wierd Quote Link to post
