A lovely afternoon

Recommended Posts

Just a few pics, from a few hours out this afternoon.

I took our new addition Teasle the Bedlington Terrier for her second time out with the ferrets and pleased to say that she now realises that the ferrets are actually part of the team and not fair game like the rabbits.

Total bag 18 rabbits, only one one foot dig, most hit the longnets but the dogs made some good catches too with farouq taking the most. Ameerah some how managed to catch a jackdow, never saw her catch so I don't know what happened.

Thanks for looking everyone. They all did very well, with some really difficult running as with all the rocks from the fields having been thrown into the hedge bottom plus all the branches and fence wire , they've taken some amount of knocks judging from all the nicks and crazes they have, nothing serious though.

well done mate sounds like you had a good day!

some big looking bunnys there too. :clapper:

do your dogs ever get protective over the rabbits while in the back of the motor?

They've all tried it on once at some point but I won't tolerate and they know that.

One of my salukis/lurcher throw a yorkie away that came near his hare that he had caught. They can do too much very quickly to let them away with that sort of thing
