I would remove the post mate, your advertising where you are going to keep yor guns!! im sure you wouldnt get a certificate if any police are on this site,if anyone on here knows you or if you buy/sell anything people can find out your address.

They cant make you get a cabinet mate but they advise you too,but that hasp and paddlock wont pass

If, as you say you will be securely fitting a gun cabinet, that is fine. I would only question why you feel there is a need to fit that lock to the outside of the cupboard, reason being, if someone broke into your house that lock on the outside would in fact attract them to get the jemmy out to investigate further.

bit of advise mate dont hang that lamp like that it will pull the wiring out in the handle they arnt the most sold things anyway

yep it will defiantly be fitted securely to a solid brick wall. Just thought it would be a good idea to put a lock on it just incase.

no worries then mate i thought you were going to try and pass that off as a cabinet. if its securely fitted then fine but, as dicehorn said it might be best to remove the lock on the outside. no need for it to be honest. best of luck mate
