i think you wont go far wrong with a collie cross,as others have said,that said theres good and bad in all crosses,beddy crosses look the business,ive never seen one run so i cant say how they do on the job,collie xs arnt the best lookers but they are smart,and easy enough to train,and if its your first dog that should be important,as you will soon get sick of looking at it,if it wont do what you want it to,its all down to personal choice,i wish you all the best for the future

i'm thinking about getting my own dog to work instead of using my mates.....any suggestion on what the best dog for a new starter wud b?

is turner still your king. :D

a beddy X coz its got speed a bit smart and is a really determind dog! ive got one he is big and runs like lighting for such a big dog brill on them long eared rabbits catch them for fun oh superpoolie what quarry are you goin to work him on :D

gona start with rabbit mainly just for now, if can catch anything else then that will be sweet :good:
