Just so I have got my facts right, you are saying this pup is 7 months old?...............if that is the case, why the feck is he even trying to run anything with it?

Start it next season and leave well alone for this season.

i AGREE WITH WILF ON THIS!!!

7 months is no age to start a dog he shud be schooled obedient and ready for next season! have him out on a few summer rabbis if the grounds not too hard and start him in aug/sept all dogs deserve the right to mature you have a chance of blowing his lungs before theyre fully developed...

a puppy is just that and deserves to be so...10-14 months depending on the dog is young enough for any lurcher to be entered!!

I NOW YA BUT ITS THE FACT IT WONT EVEN RUN ON THE LAMP IT AS BEEN OUT 4 TIMES AND SLIP IT 2/3 TIMES NOTHING HARD BUT WONT RUN!!!

Well the best I can suggest then is that your mate give the dog away to someone who is going to bring it up right before he fecks it up altogether ;)

You say the pups "nearly 7 months", and you're wondering what to do with him. :icon_eek:

Is it not obvious mate. :hmm: I'd have thought that between you and your mate one of you would know that the pups far too young, seemingly not. :o

Let the pup grow mentally and physically,i've seen many a dog wasted by starting them too young.

Tell your mate to take a chill pill and concentrate on training the pup untill it's a bit older.

got to agree with that. find the dog a good owner that has enough sense to bring it on right. ;)

keep taking the pup out with you and dont let him off , just let him watch !!

your dog is still a pup , let him mature :clapper:
