Simoman 110
Best of luck stabs, were abouts you thinking of?? We were out there last year, my wife had some interviews in Perth/Rockingham (Western Oz) and Sydney (NSW). We think we will probably take the plunge but it's a big decision with a 3 year old and another on the way. However the idea of being a house husband chillin in the garden with a cold beer and firin' up the barbie sounds good
DiStuRBeD 0
just come over here bloke, u'll get a job no worries if u dont like the heat then stay coastal, and donw the bottom half of the country, or get a office job in a nice airconditioned place that is not far from home WA is good, plenty of space over this side, its 1/3 of the country and has f**k all population the only other places id consider myself would be either queensland or northern territory, but they are hot etc there is more game over east too, plenty here but not as much as over there from what i can gather

Its been 5 years now since I`ve made the move from London, and I kick myself everyday that I never did it sooner. The weather, the people, the food, the beer, the women and more importantly the hunting is soooo much better here. Its not easy getting a residency here, but its worth the hassle. Cant you get a transfer from your job to the NSW branch? They might sponser you... That will mean you will be located in a big city. Another option is to come over on a student visa, but thats not cheap. About $12,000 in TAFE fees a year. Never spent much time in SA so my buddy there might be right. Spent most of my time in Victoria. The weather is not as hot as the other States, the hunting is great, except for pigs. And you can always come and stay with us rent free until you get yourself sorted out. Take a look at the Australian immigration website, there`s heaps of info on there, if you can understand it all (unlike me). The best of luck mate... If you "really" want to come over, then there is no excuse. There is always a way to get through the red tape. I've had enough here ....I've got no trade and I don't like the heat.... Stabs 3
Hey Bullcat, Are all the bars like that one we drank in after that day at immigration in Melbourne? What a day that was eh? Thanks for the replies lads. When I come over, I'm going to be looking at Brisbane as I've got some interests there. Not ideal for someone who doesn't like the heat, but there you go, it's not something I can budge on. I've registered with a few agencies and there's an expo coming up this weekend so fingers crossed something will come up. Does anyone know how collie crosses go on pigs?
