Tyla 3,179
Just got back in. i f*cking loved it! Caught a 2 1/2 lber and the guy i went with had three. No disasterous tangles or other screw ups and i wasnt a whole lot worse than some other people there which is not bad as the first time i picked up a fly rod was yesterday Got your pics too Mackem, although i used Amy's camera so i have to wait til she comes in to post them. The one i caught on had a white tail, silver and black body and silver eyes. My mate had one on the same fly and and the other two on one with opposite colours, black tail, white and silver body and silver eyes. We also tried white and olive nymphs which they would follow but not take and a blood worm which they ignored! Cheers Quote Link to post

Tyla 3,179
That looks a VERY nice place to fish I am going to google it,how much a day?Did you say a quid Thought you would like it £26 for 2 fish ticket or £31 for 3 fish. They have a web site www.chalksprings.co.uk it think but try google. Not sure that its open at night though Quote Link to post
mackem 26,044
No good for me then, night time or nothing, but it certainly looks like it would be dark and secluded once the sun goes down £26 is beyond my means sadly,I wonder if they accept pro-rata payments Quote Link to post
