mart 131 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 got a tip from guy who competes with sleddogs when i was building my boxes. build them as small as you can, the dog isnt allowed to move in the box, only to lay down. this protects the dogs if you should crash. he had a bad accident once, with 30 dogs on a trailer behind his car, he crashed into a vehicle in front of him, driving in the same direction. the trailer flipped over his car, landing 20 meters from the crash. none of the dogs were injured because they were packed so tight together.(two and two in small compartments) Quote Link to post

john hubery 9 Posted November 15, 2008 Report Share Posted November 15, 2008 As Mart say's keep them tight for safety our's are 350 wide 350 deep and 450 high, but we have built one off specials a lot smaller for quads or to fit in the back of cars under a parcle shelf out of sight Quote Link to post
