Dan Edwards 1,134
I believe them two dogs were about a year and a half old. They were catching and killing coyotes together since just under a year old I believe. They are littermate brothers and their daddy is one of the best that ever hit U.S. soil. Quote Link to post
Guest MY LAW
I believe them two dogs were about a year and a half old. They were catching and killing coyotes together since just under a year old I believe. They are littermate brothers and their daddy is one of the best that ever hit U.S. soil.glad to see some one else that dont pamper their dogs when they are young ,this is a big problem with owners in this country ,they dont let the dogs learn for them selves. labsnlurchers 39
Not a problem, law. Not a problem at all brother. These are not "lurchers" being ran on these critters. These have no "working" dog blood in them at all, well at least not for a long time ago. These are a strain of I guess you could call them "pure" running dogs that have tremendous amounts of stamina and courage. Here is a descent pic of two really great young dogs, close up so you guys can sort of see what they look like. Its very obvious there is no "working dog" in them. great vid mate i would love to run my dog there Mr L n L Quote Link to post
Tiff 36
Dan why is one of the dogs in that last video wearing a red jacket? I've never seen or heard of coyote dogs wearing anything? Quote Link to post

UphillDoc 278
His Wife-They almost always run "Bo" with the jacket. His owner likes to be able to indentify him easily. Its hard to tell them apart sometimes at the distances and speeds they are moving, when you have more than one dog colored the same. Take care. Quote Link to post
MATTI 34
Do the dog's take much punishment from the coyote?? Also have you ever slipped the dog's to a Wolf by accident?? Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
Brilliant vids: especially the third one: you can see just how fast that coyote started running when it realised the dogs were coming: it really went down a few gears: just shows how very fast those dogs are. Very impressive animals they are: I guess something that has been bred for the sole purpose of catching coyotes must by now after a couple of hundred years, be as close to perfection as you can get.
