It sounds dreadful, dont mix with any other dogs. Dont go near other dogs yrself in same clothes as it's airbourne & will go through other dogs like wildfire. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Dont go near other dogs yrself in same clothes as it's airbourne & will go through other dogs like wildfire. thanks guys how long will it normally last for hes already got his sick note from ferreting tommorow usually about three weeks [bANNED TEXT]...use benylin to help theres not much a vet can do when mine caught it a few years back i used baytryl to prevent secondary infection and a anti hystemene called voren...it helped alot....altho if its not a terribly bad case you can usually ride it out!! It spreads like wild fire and theres nothing you can really do to treat it .. as said kids benelyn or honey can sooth it .. My wire haired vizsla started with it a few weeks ago and its STILL in my kennel with a litter ive got on at the minute..
