labsnlurchers 39
They do alot of wierd things over there, i was watching a programme on channel 4 the other night called kill it, skin it, wear it....Brilliant programme about the fur industry kind of exposed the none truths that the antis spout BUT it did show something awful in china, a dog or fox or something stood on a box, skinned and still alive, its eyes were blinking and it made me feel sick, i cant get the picture out of my head. Its a shame the antis dont concentrate on this rather than banning the fur trade in the more humane civilised cultures. http://www.channel4.com/video/kill-it-skin...it/catchup.html It also talks about tracability in the fur trade which i think is a good idea, at least then you would know that the animals were humanely dealt with. Hob&Jill 258
Cant even believe that you believe it. Its a load of fake fecking shite to get people on the whole animal rights train. Why the f**k would people shark fishing go to the trouble of using alive dogs as bait. Sharks are lured up close to the boats with bags of fish hanging near the boats. a chunk of meat or fish is all thats needed to hook them. Plus alot of big shark fishing is just a tourism industry. Cant see tourists being all to keep on there skipper hooking up Rover lol! EDIT....plus notice the way that they are pulling back the dogs head skin to make it appear stressed out and its also funny how there isnt a single sign of a wound there, no blood stains on the fur, scabbing or swelling. Another thing lol........ just imagine trying to actually hook the dog. Its going to take your f*****g hand off, not the most practicle of baits is it Edited November 14, 2008 by Hob&Jill

While that video could well be a fake, it deffo goes on with some unscrupulous arseholes over there..... Suppose so mate. Havent seen the programme so cant say. The reason I find it hard to believe is because, its completey pointless. Using a dog isnt going to be any more affective than a chunk of fish. If it does happen, I would think its by very few extreamly sick people who do it because they enjoy watching it. Im still sure the video is fake. Dont know why there would be a dog in a vets with hooks in it. Surely its been used as bait or not. You would think there priorty would be to get the hooks out to not to get out the video equipment and start filming. After all, it would only take some pliers to clip the points off. Edit again lol. Sorry look at the hook that is in the dog. It isnt even a fishing hook, looks like some sort of meat hook. It has no barbs, and 99% shark boats use barbed hooks. Its hard enough getting a maggot to stay on a barbless hook, let alone a dog lol I have also never seen a double hook like that used before.
