Yorkshire terriers- do people work them

probably mate alot of dogs were once worked (westies, skye terriers) theres more then that but kc breeding for breed standard has significantly shitted them up... i think i saw a westie enter on a video on youtube i think it was a foreighn dog though from germany.

me dad said he had one that worked , this was about 45 - 50 years ago

pm wilf off here, he has a working strain, lots of££££££££££££££££££,s though but vv good! im told. :)

Just wondered if anybody worked yorkshire terriers and if there were any working lines about, tried to have a look through old post's but couldnt find any info.

The only possible place you could have seen a Yorkie is on the end of a lead, probably with a coat on it to protect it from the cold.

Now think about the job a working terrier has to do.

Now think long and hard about the stupid question you asked and you'll probably find the answer.

Seems a bit harsh mate. :o Look at bedlingtons, lots of shit and some good workers.

Maybe this lad plans on resurecting the breed! recreating the powerful brute of yesteryear.........
