bird 9,926
I have watched the big cat series on BBC1, and main thing about it is what the cats eat and when they eat to survive. Now a big cat would not just kill rabbits , it would need larger game, so you would say it would go for deer. Well from watching the progamme, the kills on large game were from 3 from 10 on average.? Now with all the livestock [ sheep+cattle] out there, you would think they go for easy kills.?? Yet you never here farmers , say they loose regualarly stock from big cats, and a cat kill is differnt from a dog or wolf kill, always a neck hold+ sufocation. If they were out there the farmers should show us the evidence of there survival.??

There have been quite a few sheep that have been taken by which looks like a cat kill, well they say it looks like it, I have yet to see pictures, and the ones I have seen look like its been mauled by ssomething other than a cat. Dawn B 212
Well Dawn, i'm not even going to bother debating against you, as i can see you are a pretty negative small minded person, who must lead a pretty boring life. I'm not being funny or callling any names, its just the way you come across.....And trying to have a convo with you would be pretty i guess. Yes I must be not to believe that there are big cats out there an not one single person can prove otherwise!!!! Dont think its my world thats small, if it were maybe Id of seen one too! PROVE it to me! Incidently, why arent you calling the other sceptics small minded??
mackem 26,574
Merriam Websters definition of small-minded.....someone with a narrow field of interests or viewpoints.Nothing small-minded about any of us,we are actually open-minded if anything, all we ask for is solid, irrefutable, tangible, concrete proof,if they were everywhere think of the clarity of image and visual evidence we would have as footage, but its always blurry, from a distance, never crystal-clear,we battologised over this loads of times Simo so show me the most current definitive pic of a puma, cougar,or leopard taken in the british countryside please It shouldnt be difficult, the rarest animals in the most remote places are on screen daily,we live in maybe the most populated country in Europe, these cats are seen on a daily basis............................ mackem 26,574
Dawn, civility costs nothing, but to be honest I wanted to believe years ago,I was deeply into cryptozoology,I travelled miles, not just here but abroad looking for strange creatures,I sat in a Philippine graveyard at midnight on my own once seeking to catch a glimpse of a mananangal, slept under a "Haunted" banyan tree under a full moon waiting for the tree-spirit to creep out and steal my soul, the strangest thing I ever saw was St-elmos fire, and massive amounts of bioluminescence, but I never saw any creatures "Fortean Times" magazine which investigates all things like this failed to reach any conclusive proof,so in the words of Mulder and Scully................................The truth is out there one way or another
mackem 26,574
No one said Lying jolong, but isnt it odd there isnt any solid proof apart from small cats from the 's and 90's,where are the bigger headline grabbing ABC's?The panthers, pumas, cougars? jolong 1
saying that you don't believe something that other people are saying is like saying they are lying.. all the people that claim to have witnessed these cats is enough proof for me Edited November 15, 2008 by jolong
mackem 26,574
Totally wrong jolong, saying I would rather have proof and see it with my own eyes isnt casting aspersions on other peoples versions of a story, just asking for proof thats all
