got me new pup last monday was brilliant but kepted limping a bit but not to much on the friday he wasnt the same saturday wasnt eating sunday sick and dieire got to the vets well wensday [yesterday] got a phone call the pup is in such a bad way he will not live hes suffering so i had to put him down

 

well before mine died but was at deaths door i phoned the breeder and said how are your pups straight away he said ones dead the same thing but not all of them now he aint ansering the phone it cant be something i done becouse his wouldnt die it must of come bad

 

do you think im in my rights to get my money whats your thoughts

If the other pup's where bad and he new yes id ask for my money back , if hes blanking your call's go and see him and have a little chat with him I lost a very weell bred saluki pup last week to parvo there seems to be alot of it going about at the minute it was booked in for its jab's the next day the poor fecker never made it..

the vet said it was parvo or gastric infection ive been to the bloke settled on 75 thats half ive got to wait till next week to get it i think ive been far the dog was good when left but it must of been from him becouse his died the same way

Be carefull if you get another pup becauce parvo can stay in the ground for a year or 2 and reinfect very easily, so if you do get another pup get it jabbed first or keep it at a pals until the jab's kick in. And suppose the fellow was fair enough giving you half the money back, better than nixy's

the pup i got hear mate is the same thing the vet dont think he will make it till tomrrow i am guted about it

Im pretty sure that parvo immunity is passed from dam to offspring through the milk and lasts the pups till about 8-10 wk old aslong as they arent weaned too early. If i were buying a pup id ask to see the dams vaccination certificate. You can never be 100% but a pup from a vaccinated dam will stand more of a chance fighting parvo.

If i bought a pup which consequently died from an infection it left the breeders with i would most definately be expecting my money back.

 

Very sorry for your loss-poor pups
