better off buying in galvanised pannels and just bolting the frame to the wall then just get a raised bed made or a box for them to sleep in!!!

buy proper tools... you'll apretiate the male pown mag better then..screw fix.. machine mart.. the netto center fold the aldi monthly lol...

a drill with hammer action.. theres diferent drill bit types for wood/metal etc...ask at the shop (hmmaer action for brick)

exstention cable

coardless drill for a screwdriver are so nice and easy..but NOT the pidly little hand ones, theyre for elecronic little things..(kkep all loose cloathing away from the drill end..it raps up very fast and will hurt...)

hack saw

wood saw..

and a set sqauare.

a tape measure..or a bitta string and hold it there...

and one pencil pen thing..chalk...scratch it with a sharp bit etc

the rest is sort of gues it or work it out.

edited in...tips and hints..

raw plugs make the hole hold the screws, a bit of wood slintered can be used. (for brick)

getting a screw in the morter is easiest but in the brick a better hold..

if its for secure sruff exspantion bolts.. they got a mettle 'raw plug' that bites better into the brick or holds from behind the brick in the cavity.

draw a ruff plan..mach stick men diagrams do a wanders for the head to to fathom it.

doors and stuff... if you measuring sucks then get some little wedgies under the door in the hols and mark where you want it.

B&Q will have it but you'll pay for the pleasure... shop about till you find that shop thats got the bits no one else has.

buy bags of screws (but not from the big stalls..owch yu can get a few hundred for the price of those little bags...)

screws are removable, nails are perminant but cheaper.. make sure they arnt too long.(if it's into wood and it's a lath..drill a hole a little bit smaller than the nail on the top peace, and just drive it into the second...stops it splitting and makes it easier to hit it in there.

drilling..... biggus secret.. firm grip on the drill and put your feet or what ever so that your not at arms reach, the further out you hold..the more wobbley..

dint a starter hole with a nail or dot punch so the drill bit has a grip...andsdoesnt walk all over the place.

on the drill bit measure how deep you want it, then rap tape around at that depth..theres a hole giude.(or use the long bar thing that comes with the drill...)

drill the frame holes...put it where its going, poke your pencil in that hole and mark the wall... drill that hole put a screw in loose.. drill another at tuther end just to hold it still on long bits..mark the rest....remove the two holding screws then drill away........

have fun...

Depending on sort of stable you got. If its an olde world type with wooden walls and beams. Just buy some sheets of four ply and some four by two. Create the uprights with the wood and just nail the sheets of ply to it. You might have to cut some of the ply to fit and the uprights with a saw, Im sure you can do that its easy. Have a go anyway you might suprise yourself.
